MOTORCYCLE JUMPING OVER WATER WORLD RECORDS

WATER.

    a. LARGEST BODY OF WATER. This record is for the widest body of water jumped ramp to ramp.

    b. WIDEST RIVER.

    d. LAKE. This record is for the widest lake measurement in the ramp centerline.

    e. RAMP TO WATER. This record is for the greatest distance jumped where the jumper lands in water.

Current record holder: Doug Danger, approx. 200 feet, Forrest Lake, Palmer, Massachusetts

Current quad record holder: Matt Coulter, 127 feet.

Current "Cannon" record: Reckless Rex Phelps, 137 feet.

Note: Reckless Rex Phelps' "Cannon" is a large ramp with a horizontal padded bar which stops the bike in its tracks at the top of the ramp when the front number plate impacts the bar. The rider, standing on the seat, is then ejected over the bars and flies for distance into water.

    e. DROPOFF INTO WATER. This record is for the greatest height jumped as a dropoff from one surface to the water, such as a cliff dropoff, a building dropoff, or a platform dropoff jump into water.
